General FAQs
We’re happy to answer all your questions. Please check here first before calling the office. If you don’t find the answer, call (604) 220-2849 or enquire via our online form.
How long is each class?
Classes run for 60 minutes. We ask that you arrive a few minutes prior to start time to get organized and warm up on the field.
How often is each class?
Your scheduled class will run once a week, with the exception of holidays. Please refer to each specific class for further details.
Can my child try out a class?
Yes! We will host an Open House every month so kids and parents can participate in a free class. Contact us to reserve your spot, space is limited.
What should they wear to class?
Your child should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that they can move in, clean inside sneakers, and bring a water bottle. Sandals, dress shoes, or boots are not permitted on the field.
Can I speak to someone directly to get information or register?
You can reach us from 8am to 5pm PST by calling (604) 220-2849. We are happy to chat with you and answer any questions.
Does a parent or guardian need to stay during each class?
Yes, a parent or guardian must stay for the class and assist their child. The instructor will be unable to leave the class to deal with bathroom breaks or any other issues that will distract from the rest of the class.
Can I get a discount or pro-rated fee if my child misses a class?
No, Fort Fit Kids does not offer discounts or prorated fees for missed classes.
Do they need equipment?
No, all equipment is provided.
Do you have multiple child discounts?
No, Fort Fit Kids does not offer multiple child discounts.
My child can’t attend the program after all, can I get a refund?
Yes, we are happy to provide a refund with the following conditions. If you’ve signed up for the 4 week program, a full refund will be given up to 2 weeks prior to the start of your first class. If you’ve already started the program, there is no refund for the 4 week class. If you’ve signed up for the 3 month class, a full refund will be given up to 2 weeks prior to the start of your first class. If the class has already begun, with a month’s notice we will provide a refund for the remainder of the classes.
Who are your coaches, and what are their qualifications?
We employ only the most enthusiastic and fun-minded coaches. Their ability to communicate and teach at an age-appropriate level, all while keeping classes high-energy and fun, is key. Every coach goes through a rigours interview process and background check, and there will always be at least 1 person with First Aid training in the building.
How do I know if my registration is complete?
If you registered directly with Fort Fit Kids and provided full payment, then your child is registered. We’ll only follow-up if there is a concern about your registration. If you register on the Fort Fit Kids website, you will receive an instant online confirmation.
Can I bring a sibling to the class?

Will my child feel behind if it’s their first time playing this sport?
Not at all. We’ve designed our classes to keep kids of every experience and skill level having fun and improving their individual skills.
Are Fort Fit Kids classes progressive?
Yes, our classes are progressive, allowing kids to improve and develop their skills as they move up through the age-based classes.

Online Registration FAQs
We’re pleased to offer the convenience of online class registration. If you have a question about the process, please review the following FAQ’s. If we haven’t answered your question below, feel free to reach out directly.
How does PayPal work?
PayPal is a secure, widely used payment processing service that allows you to make payments online. PayPal allows you to purchase items on (website) fortfitkids.com by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express), debit credit card, or e-cheque (i.e. using your regular bank account). At no point will Fort Fit Kids see your card number as it is securely encrypted through PayPal’s server. This limits the risk of unauthorized use and access. We do not accept e-cheque payments as these can take up to 2 weeks to clear. Credit card payments are much faster and allow for quicker confirmation of your class(es).
Is your payment gateway secure?
Our payment gateway is as secure as it gets. We use the same security and encryption technologies as the largest banks, and our shopping cart is a PCI-DSS validated Level 1 Service Provider – the gold standard for e-commerce solutions worldwide.
Can I change my billing or shipping information once I’ve made a purchase?

Will I receive a payment confirmation?
Yes, once your payment has been received you’ll receive an email confirming your registration. You can also log into your storefront account at www.fortfitkids.com to check your registration status at any time. If we have received your payment, the registration status will show “Processing”.
Will I receive an invoice for my purchase?
Yes, once your payment has cleared we’ll send you an invoice by email. Please also keep your PayPal receipt for the transaction.
Is registration for my child confirmed once payment clears?
Once your payment clears, you will immediately receive a form to your email inbox that MUST be completed before your child attends a class. This form will request information such as emergency contact information.
If we change our mind about registration for a class, can we get a full refund or a credit towards another class at a later date?
If you registered your child for the 4-week class we can provide a refund if we receive 2 weeks notice, except in the case of illness where it may not be possible to provide 2 weeks notice (COVID). If registration was for the 3-month class we can only provide a refund if we receive 1 month notice. We do not offer class credits at this time.
Due to the risk of COVID-19, we require all parents or children who are sick, or experiencing symptoms (even if mild) such as fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath to call (604) 220-2849 and cancel attendance.
Can I cancel my registration?
Yes, it is possible, depending on what stage of processing your registration is at.
If you haven’t paid for your registration yet, you can simply remove the class(es) from your shopping cart and the registration will not be processed.
If you have already paid for your registration, it may still be possible to cancel it. Please contact our Customer Service Department at email: admin(at)fortfitkids.com as soon as possible. If your child has not attended a class yet, we may be able to cancel it and return the payment to you (does not include credit against future registration).
How do refunds work?
You will need to contact our After Sales Service team at email: admin(at)fortfitkids.com and provide the following information:
- The class information
- Details of the class registered for
- Your address, phone number, and child’s name that was registered
It is important to note that we cannot process any refunds if your child has already attended classes. Refunds must be initiated with 2 weeks notice for the 4-week class, or with 1 month notice for the 3-month class, to give us an opportunity to fill the spot.
